Welcome to San Diego Seeds. San Diego’s new center for heirloom seed exchange. Over time I hope that this site will evolve into a educational resource and a forum for locals to share heirloom seeds.
Future goals are:
- Start a physical seed library.
- Acquire donated heirloom seeds.
- Organize seeds swap events.
- Hold educational seminars on seed saving.
- Add a forum to the website for seed savers to interact and communicate ideas.
- Add more educational material to the site, both written and video.
How can you help?
- Tell your friends about the site.
- Save seeds this year for donations in future years. At this time I don’t need monetary donations, I need seeds.
- Acquire donated heirloom seeds for the library.
- Contribute content for the site.
- Volunteer to hold a workshop on seed saving.
- Want to be really involved, then join the “board.”
- Anything else that you think will be beneficial.
